One of the joys of the trip to SFinland and N.Norway was meeting and befriending Someka Onoda and Emiko Nishikawa plus her husband Mr Nishikawa. I post some photos of Ruff in breeding plumage- a first for me and taken by Someka. I am sure you will enjoy some of the owls that will be posted next!

Back from the far north!

Just recovering on the sofa after a brilliant trip to the far North of Finland and Norway! Will be posting some photo's and trip report - thanks to Glenn Overington of Shetland Wildlife and Pirita and Petri from Finnature for some great times- great driving and finding the sites where we all found some birds! I think mine were generally raptors! lol!
