Lightening Bolt!
I tried posting this just after the Race but blogger wasn't playing!
Wow! I have changed the original post as its a couple of days later but wasn't that sensational?
What kind of time might he do if he really raced all the way?
Looking forward to the 200 now....
Well the Sailors have done us proud and for once we almost got good coverage! Still I expect the BBC think that was good coverage. Ben Ainslie is a fantastic dingy sailor!
Rowers glinted and I felt gutted for the womens coxless four how painful was that going for Gold and getting the silver! 3rd time too for Kath Grainger she will be inconsolible - holiday needed there and then a re think or what?
Cycling continues to shine for GB.
As for young Louis Smith that was spendid! First GB male to an individual final and then top it off with a medal!
Talons crossed for at least some medals in the Athletics...I suppose tho we will be looking for some pb's mainly and we cant ask for more than that.
Triple Jump? 400 metres? cant see further than that...altho our 1500 metre runner did really well ....but when it comes to the Finals?????????????
I notice that Commonwealth Countries are getting lots of attention not sure we have had that before? - Ireland too of course....clutching at straws???????????????
